Miguel grew up minutes away from the border in South Texas, with family on both sides. He also worked at American embassies, where he experienced expats for the first time and loved the idea, so the culture shock he helps clients navigate is one he understands firsthand. A retired disabled veteran, he understands service, structure and what it means to pivot to a completely new chapter in life.
Today he runs Veteran Freedom Relocation as your dual-citizen, bilingual guide working from Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. He assists and helps guide buyers through the relocation and buying process, connects them to trusted local professionals and specialists for financing, residency, healthcare and legal matters, and works alongside his eXp-affiliated Mexican-side team, EndEx Home Group, for the in-country property work. One continuous process, two sides of the same team.

Why the Tree: Our Logo
The Gumbo-Limbo is native to Riviera Nayarit. Locals call it the "Gringo" tree, because its red bark peels like a sunburnt gringo.
The roots represent the struggle, the work, and the often-unnoticed sacrifice that a veteran makes in life to build a firm foundation.
The top of the tree comes after the downward struggle, and finally gets to enjoy the wind, the rain, and the sun.
The shade the tree provides is the blanket of security offered to your family.
The shield is the protector, and the crossed swords are the warrior. On the EndEx logo, the Mesoamerican design and golden shield represent Mexico, along with the memorial next to the tree for our fallen brothers, who are no longer with us but are still with us, enjoying the beach and the mountains.
The ground represents the border. Work hard on one side, and enjoy life on the other.
